That town hall meeting where nobody checked their facts
I went to a town hall last Tuesday in Springfield about the new downtown development plan. The speaker claimed their content strategy reached 50,000 people based on blog views alone, but I checked their site traffic and it was more like 2,000 real visitors. Has anyone else seen people at public meetings throw around made up numbers like that before they start their project?
