Saw that 55% of blog readers spend less than 15 seconds on a page

I stumbled on that statistic from a 2023 content behavior report and realized my long intros are killing engagement. Has anyone else restructured their posts after finding a stat like that?

Gotta disagree with you here man. I think people are actually reading more than ever, just in different ways. Like yeah, maybe they skim a cereal box but that's because it's literally just marketing fluff on there. But when it comes to stuff they actually care about, like game patch notes or Discord lore or whatever, they read every single word. I see it all the time in my group chats where people quote exact lines from articles they found. The attention span thing feels more like a myth to me than reality.
