Pro tip: repurposing one webinar turned into 14 posts
Last quarter I ran a 45 minute webinar about local SEO for plumbers and got maybe 40 attendees. Instead of trashing the recording, I pulled out every question someone asked in the chat and turned each one into a standalone blog post. That gave me 14 posts over 3 weeks, and the one about Google Business Profile photos got more traffic than the original webinar page. The key was timestamps, I noted where each question came up in the recording so I could grab the exact answer. Now I'm planning to do the same for our next one on review management. Has anyone else mined their old webinars this way, or do you just reuse the slides?
Man, the timestamp thing is so smart and I feel dumb for never thinking of it. We've got like 20 old webinars just sitting in a folder collecting dust because pulling clips always felt like too much work. Doing it per question instead of per topic makes way more sense, you already know what people actually wanted to hear. Sorry I don't have tips to offer since you're clearly ahead of me here, just wanted to say this got me thinking about digging up our back catalog.
