My blog post on repurposing old content took 3 days longer than I budgeted for

I had this idea to take 10 old blog posts from last year and turn them into a downloadable PDF lead magnet... thought it would be a quick afternoon project. But I ended up spending 4 full days rewriting, reformatting, and fixing broken links in the originals. The tool I used kept crashing when I tried to export the PDF with images. Has anyone else had a simple content project balloon into something way bigger than expected?

Oh man, I feel this. I had a similar thing happen with an email sequence, what saved me was outlining the final format first before touching anything else.

Actually something that gets overlooked is checking if the sequence already has a built-in audience that expects certain formatting. If you're sending to a list that's used to super short emails, suddenly dropping a long formatted outline can tank open rates. Sometimes the "problem" is just a mismatch between your style and what subscribers are used to seeing from you.
