Last Tuesday my content calendar completely fell apart
I had 7 blog posts lined up for the month but a client dropped a 12-page whitepaper revision on me with a 48-hour turnaround. Ended up scrambling to reschedule 3 posts and had to kill two planned pieces because the references were already outdated. How do you guys handle sudden priority shifts without losing your whole month's strategy?

Oh man, I feel this so hard. Something similar happened to me last month where I had everything lined up for a client campaign and then they hit me with a last minute audit request that ate up three full days. I had to bump two pieces and one of them was time sensitive so it just died on the vine. What I've started doing is keeping a buffer of two or three evergreen pieces that I can swap in when things fall apart. Also I try to batch write on weekends when I know a busy week is coming, just so I have some wiggle room. Your mileage may vary but having that safety net has saved me a few times now.

Your whole month's strategy" - is this really that serious? Just move a couple dates.
