I stopped planning my content calendar a month ago and my engagement doubled

Everyone keeps saying you need to schedule posts weeks out, but I tried just writing and posting whatever felt right each morning for 30 days. Has anyone else seen better results from ditching the calendar and going with what's happening that day?

Saw a creator say her best posts were the ones she wrote in 10 minutes that day lol.

10 minutes? Sure, and I bet the ones she spent an hour on were disasters.

Yeah that whole "just write it in 10 minutes" thing always sounds a bit off to me. @claire_walker, does that creator have a big following already or are they still small? The difference matters a lot. Someone with 100k followers can post anything and it does well. For a smaller creator, those 10 minute posts usually flop unless they get lucky. I'd want to know if they had built up trust with their audience first before they started cranking out fast posts. Being able to write something fast only works after you've already proven you know what your people want.
