Finally ditched case studies for mini video testimonials and I get way more engagement now

For years I swore by long form case studies. I thought people needed all the details to trust you. Then a client last quarter sent me a 45 second cell phone clip of someone saying the product saved them 3 hours a week. I posted it on LinkedIn and it got triple the clicks of my last 1500 word write up. So I tried swapping out 4 case studies for short video clips on our blog. Within 2 months our time on page actually went up 12%. I still think written stuff has its place but videos win for grabbing attention fast. Has anyone else seen better results from shorter formats over deep dives?

Ha! I've been that guy writing 2000 word case studies nobody reads while my competitors post a 30 second iphone video and get all the love. Guess I'll trade my thesaurus for a selfie stick.

Long-form buyers need those details to say yes though.
