Dropped $600 on a content repurposing tool that barely saved me 2 hours a month

I got hooked by the marketing promise of turning one blog post into 20 pieces of content automatically, but after 4 months the AI outputs were so generic I had to rewrite almost everything anyway. Has anyone actually found a tool that delivers on that kind of time savings or is it all hype?

barely saved me 2 hours" is actually pretty generous for most of those tools.

Barely saved me 2 hours a month" - honestly that sounds about right for these "set it and forget it" tools. I see so many people acting like AI is going to replace their whole workflow but it's just NOT there yet. The marketing makes it sound like you'll get 20 pieces of quality content but the reality is you get 20 pieces of generic garbage. I've tried a few of these repurposing tools myself and the best ones still need me to spend almost as much time editing as I would just writing from scratch. It's not really that serious though - if you're only losing 2 hours a month then just keep doing things the old way. The hype is definitely real but the delivery is always weak.

The editing part is the real time sink people don't talk about.
