Resurfacing old content is smart but only if you actually track what people keep typing into search bars. Google Trends and your site analytics can show you exactly where your old posts fall short. If you just rewrite without data you're guessing what people want to read. A lot of bloggers skip this step and end up polishing stuff nobody cares about. That's the part that gets overlooked in these discussions.
