Shoutout to the envelope system over my old app

Switched from a budgeting app to cash envelopes for groceries and fun money last month, and I've already saved $150. Has anyone else found that physical cash makes you think twice before spending?

Watched my buddy pull out his "fun" envelope at the bar, saw how thin it was, and he put his card right back in his wallet.
