PSA: I just realized my grocery budget was double because I wasn't checking unit prices
I was buying the big bag of rice at $4.99 for months thinking it was a deal, until my friend pointed out the smaller bag right next to it was $2.49 for almost the same weight. Turns out the larger bag was actually more expensive per pound and I never noticed because I just grabbed the one that looked bigger. Has anyone else gotten tricked by packaging like this or am I the only one who missed this basic thing?

Oh man, I did the exact same thing with cereal once... grabbed the family size box thinking it was the better deal and it was actually pricier per ounce than the regular one. Felt so dumb when I finally checked the unit price lol.

Well actually bigger boxes usually do save you money, you just got fooled by one weird brand that does it backwards.
