My son's toy list turned me into an allowance fan
Allowances seemed like a waste, but my son tracking his toy buys and saving for a bike shifted my view. He's learning to handle money, and our weekly talks reduce random spending. It's a clear win for our home budget.

Yeah the tracking and saving thing is key lol. My kid started doing that with game money and it made those "can I buy this" talks way easier, tbh.
