My grocery budget hit $212 for the month and I actually laughed at the receipt
I started tracking every single grocery trip back in March after spending $480 one month on food for just me and my dog. Last week I checked my spreadsheet and the total came to $212.43 for the whole month, which is the lowest it's been since I moved to Columbus. Turns out meal planning on Sundays and buying the ugly produce at Kroger saved me more than any coupon app ever did. What's the one change that cut your food bill the most?
Switching to store brand everything at Aldi cut mine by like $80 a month, the generic stuff tastes the same honestly. Also started cooking double batches on Sunday so I'm not grabbing takeout when I'm tired after work.
