My grocery budget finally stuck after I switched to Tuesday shopping
I used to do my big weekly shop on Sundays like everyone else, but I kept blowing past my $400 monthly target. Last month I tried going to the store on Tuesday mornings instead, and it was a total game changer. The shelves were full from Monday restocks, and I found markdowns on meat and bread that were close to expiring. I ended up saving about $35 that first week just because the store was quieter and I actually stuck to my list. Has anyone else noticed a difference shopping on a different day of the week, or is it just my local store?

Honestly, the Tuesday thing is legit. I've been doing Wednesday mornings for like a year now and it's the same deal. The markdowns on meat are way better because they're clearing out the weekend leftovers. Plus, no crowds means I don't get distracted and buy random chips I don't need. A quiet store just makes it easier to stick to the list, you know?
