Just realized that $15 meal prep container set saved me over $200 in takeout last month

I spent $15 on a 10 pack of glass containers at Target and now I cook big batches on Sunday which cut my impulse DoorDash orders from like 4 a week to just 1, has anyone else found a small purchase that paid for itself that quick?

Nodded along reading this because I did the same thing but with a cheap rice cooker like @victor_adams mentioned. Picked one up for $20 at a garage sale, and now I'm the guy who judges every restaurant's rice by my own fluffy standard. Funny how a tiny purchase can make you feel like a food snob overnight. Also stopped ordering fried rice from the takeout place down the street which was bleeding me dry. Nothing like a little cheap gadget to humble your spending habits.

Bought a cheap rice cooker for $20 and stopped ordering Chinese takeout three times a week, saved way more than that in the first month lmao.

My buddy Tim bought one and now he's a rice snob, won't eat takeout rice anymore lol.
