Dropped $47 on a cheap vacuum sealer from a yard sale in Fresno and it ate 3 pounds of chicken
I grabbed a used vacuum sealer at a yard sale near Fresno last month for $47 thinking I would save money buying meat in bulk. First run, the seal bar got too hot and melted holes in 3 pounds of chicken breasts so they went straight in the trash. I tried again with a roll of $12 bags and it just kept chewing them up and sealing nothing. Ended up buying the same meat twice that week and now the thing sits in my garage mocking me. Anybody got a cheap sealer that actually holds a seal, or should I just go back to zip bags and a straw?
