Three years of packing cubes before I got the hint

I was stuffing my backpack full of those fancy compression cubes for every trip, thinking they saved space. Then a hostel roommate in Barcelona showed me her simple dry bag trick - rolled clothes with zero wasted air pockets. How do you guys actually organize your bag without spending on extra gear?

Right, because my clothes usually wrinkle themselves from sheer boredom in the car.

Got a friend who took a dry bag on a road trip last summer and swore by it. She packed three dresses and a button-down shirt in there for a weekend wedding. When she pulled them out at the hotel they were barely wrinkled at all. Just a couple of small folds that fell out after she hung them up for an hour. She said the bag kept everything compressed and tight so nothing could shift around and get creased. Honestly it sounded way better than how my clothes usually end up after a car ride.
