That 100th night in hostels finally clicked for me
I counted last month and realized I had spent my 100th night in a shared dorm room, mostly across Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe over the years. The number surprised me because I remember my first hostel stay in Prague, I was 22 and scared of my stuff getting stolen. Now I know the tricks, pack a padlock and earplugs, and I actually sleep better in a bunk than a hotel bed. But I wonder, have any of you hit a travel milestone that made you stop and think about how much your style changed?
