The airport parking shuttle driver in Kansas City told me to skip the lot and park at a hotel
I was about to pay $18 a day at the economy lot for a 5 day trip, and he said the Holiday Inn two exits down sells parking spots for $6 a day with a free shuttle to the terminal. It felt sketchy walking up to the front desk with my bags, but they handed me a tag and it worked fine. Anyone else done the hotel parking thing, or is there a catch I'm missing if you leave your car longer than a week?

Man, that $6 rate is usually only good if you book ahead through one of those airport parking sites, not just showing up at the desk. The catch is the hotel can tow you once your reservation ends, so don't leave the car past your checkout date.
