Swear by those reusable silicone food bags now
I spent $25 on a 3-pack of stasher-style bags for a road trip last summer and they paid for themselves in snacks alone. No more leaking ziplocs in my backpack or buying baggies every stop. Has anyone tried using them for toiletries to avoid TSA hassles?

Right, travel sized toiletries leak so bad, these bags are a total game changer!

Honestly, I learned this lesson the hard way on a flight to Chicago last year when my face wash exploded all over a brand new shirt. Those little bottles never seal right once you squeeze them, so having a waterproof bag to catch the mess is the only way to go. Tbh, it saves you from packing a whole separate bag for all the stained clothes you'd end up with otherwise.
