Showerthought: I always figured hostel dorms were a hard no, then a $14 bunk in Austin changed my mind
I booked a 6 bed dorm on South Congress for one night last month because every motel was over $150, and honestly it was quieter than my last hotel stay. Met a guy from Dublin who mapped out a whole free walking route for me the next morning, which saved me about $40 in tours. Anyone else find that hostels beat cheap motels once you hit a certain price gap?
