Rented car in Barcelona vs bus pass, one saved me $80 easily
Last month I did a week in Barcelona and I planned to rent a car for day trips. But after parking fees hit me $28 on the first day and I sat in traffic for an hour just getting out to Montserrat, I dumped the rental and grabbed the T-Jove transit card for $42. The bus and metro got me everywhere faster and cheaper, plus I didn't have to stress about my window getting smashed in narrow streets. Anyone else ditch a rental mid-trip for public transit, or am I the only one who overplans?

Dunno, I kept my rental the whole week and it was way worth it for hitting the Costa Brava and some tiny mountain towns where the bus only comes twice a day. Sure, parking in Ciutat Vella sucks, but I just parked outside the center and walked in, which saved me way more than $80 in time and hassle.
