Found a bakery in Lisbon that sells day-old pastels de nata for half price

I stumbled on a tiny spot in Alfama that bakes fresh ones every morning and puts yesterday's batch out at 2pm for 0.70 euros each instead of 1.40, has anyone else found bakery clearance deals like this while traveling?

yesterday's batch out at 2pm" - how early do you have to show up? I tried that once in Rome with day-old pizza bianca. Got there at 2:15 and the rack was already wiped clean. Tourists figured it out before me. Worth it though for 50 cents off.
