Warning: The gas station off I-70 near Topeka still has a payphone, and a Gen X guy beat me to it
Stopped for gas outside Topeka and there it was, a working payphone, 50 cents a call. Some guy in a faded Nirvana shirt was already on it, yelling about his landlord, so I just watched like it was a museum exhibit. Which generation actually killed the payphone, because I think we all just slowly walked away from it.
