Spotted a Gen Z guy at Home Depot yesterday using a paper map from 1995 to find the paint aisle
He said his grandpa gave it to him for 'real navigation,' and honestly I respect the hustle more than I should, anyone else seen this kind of old-school workaround from younger folks?

Wait, a 1995 map to find the paint aisle? From 1995 that store might have looked completely different. The paint aisle could have been in the lumber section back then or something wild like that. I'd be more worried he'd end up in the plumbing aisle looking for ceiling paint because the map says there's a hardware counter where the toilets are now.

Kid's probably got a better sense of direction than half the people in there staring at their phone trying to get to the bathroom. That paper map is like a cheat code for avoiding the WiFi dead zone in the gardening section. Honestly, the grandpa knew what he was doing - that map's never gonna run out of battery or need an update.
