Spent $300 on a 'vintage' gaming bundle, turns out it was 5 busted consoles from 2003

I bought it off a guy in Akron who swore they were all 'lightly used' but the N64 has a melted controller port and the GameCube smells like cigarettes, has anyone else been burned by online marketplace nostalgia deals?

Found the exact same thing with a "collector's edition" PS2 bundle last year. Dude swore it was in "mint condition" but the disc tray barely opened and there was dried soda crust all over the inside. Tbh I've learned my lesson, now I only buy from people who send me a video of the console actually turning on first. Ngl these marketplace sellers know exactly what they're doing when they take pics in dark lighting.
