My Gen Z coworker showed me a faster way to format Excel sheets

I'm a millennial and have been doing manual cell formatting for years at my office in Austin. This 22 year old intern watched me for like 2 minutes and showed me CTRL+SHIFT+down arrow to select entire columns in one click. Has anyone else had a younger coworker totally change how you do something basic at work?

Wait, CTRL+SHIFT+down arrow does that?! I've been dragging my mouse down 500 rows at a time like some kind of caveman for ten years, I can't believe there was a shortcut this whole time. My thumb actually aches just thinking about all those wasted hours of scrolling past blank cells.
