Dropped $300 on an online course for flipping furniture and got nothing useful

I paid $300 for a furniture flipping course on a whim back in March. The first two modules were just basic sanding and painting tips I could have gotten from YouTube for free. By week three, the instructor was just promoting their overpriced paint brand with no real guidance on how to actually sell pieces. I finished it feeling like I knew less than when I started. Has anyone else gotten burned by one of these influencer courses?

Used to defend paying for info like this but you're right, @violamurray. Most of it is just searching for an audience to upsell to.

It's wild how everything online now is just a funnel to sell you more stuff. Feels like half these courses are just people who got lucky once and decided that made them an expert.
