The autocorrect typo that exposed my password habits
I sent a work email last Tuesday and autocorrect turned 'log in' into 'login1', and my supervisor replied asking why I use the same password for everything. Has anyone else had their own laziness called out by a random phone glitch?
Autocorrect turning 'log in' into 'login1' is actually kind of funny because that's not really autocorrect doing its thing. Autocorrect fixes spelling and predicts common words, it doesn't just randomly swap in a number at the end of a two word phrase. What probably happened is you typed that exact thing before, like saving a login with a number, and your phone learned it and started suggesting it. So your phone wasn't glitching, it was snitching on you.
