Rant: My phone autocorrected 'on my way' to 'on my whale' and my boss actually replied about it
I was texting my boss in Cincinnati last Tuesday that I was 10 minutes out, and autocorrect turned it into 'I am on my whale.' He replied 'glad you finally got one' like it was a normal sentence, so now the whole crew thinks I own a whale. The funny part is I typed it slow on purpose because my screen has a dead spot near the W key, and the phone still "fixed" it for me. I get that autocorrect learns from how you type, but mine seems to learn bad habits faster than I do. Is there a way to tell it to just leave short words alone, or do I have to retype every text twice now?
