Autocorrect turned 'pasta night' into 'pasta fight' and I lost a friend over it

Last Thursday I texted my neighbor Gina to confirm we were doing pasta night at my place. My phone autocorrected to "pasta fight" and I didn't catch it until after she replied with a bunch of angry emojis. She showed up at my door with a wooden spoon and asked where her kid's birthday money was, apparently she thought I was joking about a different text from her phone. I tried to show her the autocorrect log but by then she'd already stormed off. Is this a phone problem or a me-being-sloppy problem, and has anyone else had autocorrect blow up an actual relationship?
