Warning: I bought a cheap 'pro' barber cape online and it ripped in a week

Spent $35 on it, and the neck snap tore right off during a hot towel shave. Now I'm out that cash and had to rush order a real one. Anyone know a good heavy duty cape brand that can take some pulling?

Ugh that's the worst. I learned the hard way too, those cheap snaps always go first. I've had a Master Barber brand cape for like three years now and it's solid.

Yeah, @drewsullivan, you're totally right about the cheap snaps. I had a cape where the plastic snap just cracked in half after a few months. I ended up getting a heavy duty one from a workwear store, the kind with metal snaps and thick vinyl. It's not even for hair, but it's lasted forever. Sometimes you just gotta skip the stuff made for the job and get the thing that's built to take a beating.

What kind of workwear store did you find that at? I'm always looking for stuff that won't break.
