Vent: My cordless clipper battery died mid-fade on a Saturday rush

I had to finish the cut with my old backup pair that pulls hair, so do you think it's smarter to always have a second set of the same model charged, or just accept that tools fail sometimes and apologize to the client?

Wait, you still use a backup pair that pulls hair? Get a second set charged, man. That's just asking for bad reviews.

Vera's right, a backup that pulls hair is basically no backup at all. A second set of the same model is the only real insurance against looking unprofessional. Your tools failing is one thing, but using a bad one on purpose is a choice a client won't forget.

Oof, dying mid-fade is the actual worst, that's a nightmare. Paul251 is totally right about the bad backup being a choice the client feels. I keep two of my main clippers on rotation now, so one is always on the charger. It's the only way to avoid that exact panic.
