Hit 500 beard trims with my Wahl Detailer and the number threw me

I keep a little tally on my station mirror, just for fun. Counted it up yesterday and it was exactly 500 beard line-ups done with that one clipper. Never thought I'd track something so specific. Anyone else get weirdly attached to a single tool?

Ever think it was just being stubborn? I used to swap tools all the time trying to find something better. Then I found this one old wrench that just fits my hand right. I get way more done with it than any new one. Now I see why people stick with what works, even if it looks odd to others.

My buddy still uses this ancient text editor from the 90s. It looks like a black screen with green letters. He swears he writes code twice as fast in it.
