Had a kid ask for a 'dinosaur haircut' at my shop in Phoenix last month

He was about six years old and brought in a picture of a T-Rex. I had to figure out how to make a fade look like scales. Ended up using my clipper guards in a weird pattern and a little texturizing paste. It actually turned out pretty cool and his mom tipped me an extra $20. Anyone ever had to do a haircut based on a totally wild request?

Ngl I feel for the parents in that scenario. Honestly that must've been terrifying, watching your kid covered head to toe in some strange black goo and not knowing what it is or if it's dangerous. Tbh I would've been freaking out way more than they seemed to be in the video. Hopefully it washes off easy and the kid wasn't too scared afterward. You gotta hand it to kids though, they're tough little things.
