Clipper war: Wahl vs Oster, and I finally picked a side
I went back and forth for 6 months trying both on real clients in my shop near Dallas. The Oster 76s felt heavy and kept overheating on my fourth cut of the day, while my old Wahl Seniors ran smooth nonstop. What clipper brand do you swear by when the schedule gets packed?

Pat, I've got to disagree... my Oster 76s never quit on me even on those Texas summer rushes.

Oh man, I gotta say the Wahl Seniors all the way. I've been cutting hair for 15 years and those Oster 76s are just beasts, but not in a good way. They warm up way too fast on a busy Saturday, and that heavy feeling kills your wrist after a few hours. I've had my Seniors for like 8 years and they still run cold and smooth no matter how many heads I do. I tried the Osters for a month at my shop and ended up selling them to a buddy who only cuts a few heads a day. Wahl is just built better for long days, straight up.
