A client told me my fades were too high and I was mad at first but he was right
Last month a regular named Dave straight up said my fades start way too high on his head. I’ve been cutting hair for 4 years and never had anyone complain about that before. I dropped the blend line down about half an inch and used a 1.5 guard instead of jumping from a 1 to a 2. Now his fade actually looks smooth all the way around. Has anyone else had a customer give you feedback that actually made you a better barber?

Wait did you say you dropped the fade line half an inch? That's actually moving it lower down, not higher. I think you meant you raised the line or just started the blend lower on the head.
