Unpopular opinion: that $400 robotic vacuum I bought was a total waste of money
I picked up a RoboVac X50 last March for about $400 because I was sick of sweeping dog hair every day. Turns out it got stuck under my couch every single run and I spent more time rescuing it than I would have just using a broom. Has anyone else shelled out big for a gadget that just made your life harder instead of easier?

nah gotta disagree, my cheap lil vac runs every night and saves me tons of time on pet hair.

Yeah but running a cheap vac every night just means you're spending more on bags and filters in the long run. A decent robot vac built for pet hair can handle way more with less fuss. Guess it depends if you'd rather swap parts every month or drop cash once.
