Blew 4 hours trying to patch a single pinhole leak in my kitchen sink pipe

Turned out the sharkbite fitting I used 2 years ago just needed to be pushed in a quarter inch farther. Has anyone else had a plumbing fix take way longer than it should have because you overlooked something obvious?

Four hours because of one stupid little quarter inch... did you at least find the frustration kind of funny after you finally fixed it?
