Am I the only one who thinks tipping culture at coffee shops is out of control in Seattle
I go to this spot in Capitol Hill every morning and the tablet flips to a 25% tip screen before I even grab my cup, and last week the barista gave me a dirty look when I hit no tip on a $6 drip coffee. Here's my bad take: if you're just pouring black coffee into a cup, you don't deserve a tip, and I'll die on this hill. So is it just me or are we all just paying extra to avoid awkward eye contact now?
