Vent: my neighbor named her three cats after pasta shapes and I need to know if this is genius or a cry for help
So my neighbor in Boise has three cats named Rotini, Farfalle, and Rigatoni, and she calls them all to dinner by yelling "soup's on" every night at 6pm. Half our block thinks it's the cutest thing ever and the other half thinks she has lost her mind naming cats after food. I tried the same trick with my dog and named him Biscuit, but now every time I say the word around him he thinks he's getting a treat and goes nuts. Is naming pets after food a smart move because it's easy to yell, or is it setting yourself up for years of confusion at the grocery store? Need real answers here.
