Vent: I named my cat Pancake as a joke, and now I'm the one who looks dumb
My girlfriend bet me $20 I wouldn't actually put Pancake on the vet paperwork, and here we are 4 months later with a cat who only answers to breakfast food. The kicker is my vet in Fresno laughed so hard she put a little pancake sticker on his file, so now I can't even change it without feeling like a jerk. Anyone else stuck with a joke name that outlived the joke?

Own it and lean in, honestly. My buddy named his dog Taco and just started telling everyone it was his "emotional support taco" and now the whole clinic loves him for it. That sticker means your vet likes you, so changing it now would be way weirder than keeping it.
