Named my rescue cat Biscuit at the shelter in Fresno, but my roommate keeps calling him Mr. Wiggles and now I'm wondering if I blew it
Picked up this 3 year old orange tabby back in March and the shelter had him listed as "Tiger" which felt way too plain for a cat that sleeps in the sink. I went with Biscuit because he's soft and round and it just fit, but my roommate started calling him Mr. Wiggles on day one and honestly the cat comes running to that name way faster than mine. Now I'm stuck because Biscuit feels right to me but Mr. Wiggles gets results, and I can't tell if I should just give in or hold my ground. Does the name you pick actually matter if the animal responds to something else, or should I just accept that my roommate won this one?
