The RoboCop remake from 2014 still makes me cringe when I think about it
I overheard some kid at a coffee shop last weekend say the new RoboCop was 'actually pretty good' and I almost choked on my latte. Why would anyone think we needed a PG-13 version of a movie that was literally about corporate greed and ultra violence?

Ugh, yeah that remake is rough. I tried rewatching the original with some friends and they were like "oh it's so cheesy" but idk, it's supposed to be cheesy. The new one just feels like they sanded down all the edges. It didn't really work for me at all.
