Wait, hold up, the Total Recall remake was over a decade ago. You cut off all remakes based on a movie from 2012? That's your line in the sand? Man, you must have missed some genuinely fun stuff just sticking to that rule. I get being picky but that feels like an old grudge. Honestly the bigger shock is how time flies, that feels like it came out last year.

My cutoff was actually 2010 after the Clash of the Titans remake, that was the last straw. The Total Recall one just confirmed I made the right call. You end up saving so much time and money just skipping them, it's not even about the quality anymore. I'd rather rewatch an old favorite or find something original that flew under the radar.

Yeah it's a weird hill to die on, I know. Probably missed some decent movies but I just don't care anymore.
