Rant: The Psycho remake from 1998 made me turn it off after 10 minutes
I tried watching that shot-for-shot remake last weekend and it felt like watching a bad copy someone drew over the original. Every scene was the same but flat and lifeless, like they forgot why the original worked. Has anyone else tried sitting through that whole thing without getting annoyed?

Yeah, I felt the same way watching it. I made it about 15 minutes before I started yelling at the TV like a crazy person. I guess I'm just not smart enough to appreciate a movie that's exactly the same but worse.

30 minutes in I was actually defending it to my friend like "no it's building something". Then the ending hit and I realized I was the one being stupid for thinking it was going somewhere. Honestly humbling experience.
