Rant: I tallied up the remakes I watched this year and got to 17, and 11 of them were total waste
Last week I added up every remake I sat through since January and the number hit 17, which honestly shocked me. I kept a note on my phone and 11 of those were worse than the originals in every way, like the Total Recall one from 2012 that I finally watched and still regret. The one that really got me was the Point Break redo, it had zero of the weird charm that made the 1991 version fun. Here is my question for you all, which remake do you think should never have been greenlit at all?

Watching 17 remakes in one year sounds like self harm.
