Just saw the new 'Total Recall' remake and I want my money back

I paid $15 for a ticket and two hours of my life for that soulless 2012 version. It had none of the weird charm or practical effects of the original, just a bunch of generic CGI and a plot that made no sense. Has anyone found a remake that actually improved on the classic?

Tried watching that remake once and turned it off after thirty minutes. Honestly just rewatch the original with the practical effects, it holds up way better.
