Ghostbusters 2016 was a remake that missed the mark completely
I finally sat through the 2016 Ghostbusters movie again, and it still feels like a letdown. The humor forced and the characters never clicked together. It did not make much money, proving fans did not care for this version. There was no real need to remake a film that is already perfect on its own. They changed too much and lost the charm of the original. This just feels like a lazy attempt to make quick cash. Studios should stop digging up old hits and try something new instead.

Used to defend that movie when it came out. Watching it again, you're right about the humor feeling forced. They really did lose the original's vibe.
