Changed my tune on the Total Recall remake after visiting a retro arcade
I was at a place in Portland that had old movie posters everywhere and saw the original Total Recall poster. It reminded me how wild and practical the original effects were, which made me realize the remake was just flashy CGI with zero soul. Has anyone else had a change of heart about a remake after revisiting the original?

Did you used to defend the remake too? I was totally on board with it until I watched the old one again and realized how much I missed the practical stunts.

Full DISAGREEMENT here. The new one has WAY better fight choreography and the camera work actually lets you follow the action instead of cutting every half second. Those old practical stunts look cool in theory but half the time you can't even tell what's happening because they're so dark or the frame rate is garbage.
